Julie Pfeifle is a board-certified physician assistant who has worked in dermatology and aesthetics for over 10 years. She enjoys specializing in aesthetic medicine and providing a personalized approach to facial rejuvenation to her patients. Julie is dedicated to continuing education and staying up on new advancements.
Every person has a different shape and facial structure and she strives to give her patients natural-looking results that enhance your unique features. She is passionate about helping her clients achieve their desired looks using the latest innovative techniques.
In her free time, Julie likes spending time with her family, she loves spending time outside, wake surfing, hiking, and traveling!!
Lisa Brown
Lisa Brown is one of the owners of Refine & Refresh Med Spa. She earned her master’s degree in Physician Assistant from the University of Detroit Mercy. She specializes in dermatology and has spent the last 14 years diagnosing and treating skin-related disorders.
She is passionate about skin, and with her extensive training, she has found a true passion for aesthetics and regenerative medicine.
Lisa‘s unique and artistic approach aims to balance facial features and provide subtle enhancements for each client.
As a free time activity, she enjoys travelling, working out, running, and spending time with her husband, three children, and their dog, Milo.

With over 18 years of experience in the med spa and plastic surgery industry, I’m passionate about helping people achieve their healthiest, most radiant skin. My journey in skincare started with a fascination for medical-grade treatments, and it’s evolved into a deep commitment to customizing each client’s treatment plan for the best possible results.
As a laser-certified specialist and skincare enthusiast, I specialize in advanced treatments like Chemical peels, dermaplaning, skin rejuvenation, and microneedling with RF, PRP, and PRF.
My ultimate goal is to help women, young adults, and men feel confident in their skin. Beyond treatments, I pride myself on building lasting relationships founded on trust. Every client is unique, and I take the time to listen and personalize treatments to their individual needs.
When I’m not in the treatment room, I spend time with my family, hiking, practicing yoga, Pilates, reading, running, and traveling. I believe in holistic well-being and the balance between inner and outer health.

Tara brings years of experience and a deep passion for medical aesthetics. She is a licensed esthetician, committed to continued education, Tara is always refining her skills in the industry she truly loves. Her philosophy is simple: Look good. Feel good. Do good.
She believes aesthetics is about empowerment — helping each client feel confident and supported as they work toward their personal goals, big or small. Married to her best friend of over 25 years and a proud mom of two college athletes at Adrian College, Tara is excited to bring the best experience for each client at Refine and Refresh with expertise, heart, and integrity.

With over three years of experience in the aesthetics industry, Christina is passionate about helping her clients look and feel their absolute best. She is certified in HydraFacial, laser services, microneedling, and chemical peels, along with many other advanced skincare treatments. She is committed to continuing her education and staying up to date with the latest techniques and innovations in skincare.
Christina takes the time to truly understand each client’s unique skin concerns and goals, creating a personalized experience and treatment plan designed specifically for them. Dr. Cynthia Horning
Dr. Cynthia Horning earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Wayne State University. She has practiced pediatric medicine in Genesee County for more than 20 years, providing compassionate, patient centered care to families throughout the community.
As the Medical Director of Refine and Refresh Med Spa, Dr. Horning oversees the medical aspects of the practice, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety, quality, and clinical excellence. Her passion for medicine and commitment to continuing education has extended into aesthetic medicine, where she provides medical oversight and supports the delivery of safe, evidence based aesthetic treatments.
